Hello,

Is there any Florida geotechnical engineers that might care sharing a spreadsheet. I need a spreadsheet that may calculate settlements on sands based on SPT N-value and applied bearing pressure. Anyone?

Not a Florida geotechnical engineer and don't have a spreadsheet. I could give you some persepctive however. . .

I'd correlate SPT to soil modulus (7N) and the use Boussinesq to evaluate the change in vertical effective stress with depth. I'd then subdivide modulus layers and then integrate the stress profile within each of these modulus layers (i.e., determine the "area" of the stress profile). I'd divide the integril by the modulus and have the anticipated settlement for that layer. Use consistent units!
