I'm having a problem with shadows from other assemblies showing up on completely unrelated parts and having parts reflect themselves on the screen. It's hard to explain but I'll attached some pictures.

Long story short, computer blew up, IT guy had to reinstall everything. He installed Solidworks 2010 SP4.0 and now every time I open up programs that were created before, I get this shadow / reflection issue. It's incredibly annoying. However when I create new parts and assemblies, I don't have this issue. Have tried a number of options and settings but nothing has worked yet. The only thing that works to get rid of it is to change the scene, but I have to do this with every single file and we have thousands of files.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few links to the screen shots I have. The first 2 show the shadow issue, the 3rd shows the reflection issue.

Thanks
Andy

Thank you. This was actually a 2 part problem. After spending about an hour with goengineer tech support, the shadow issue turned out to be a problem with my video card drivers. Updated the drivers and the shadows went away. Switched off the Real-View graphics and the reflections also went away.
