I have a problem with the shear distribution in shell mode (with plate, etc.). No matter what I do the shear diagram always shows zero shear in the plate (I´ve created a plate manually and let SAP do it).
P.S. This is the method I used to use in the older versions of SAP (and it always worked back then):
Show Forces/Stresses > Shells > any of the V options > OK
