Has anyone here used the software known as "Woodworks". I'm interested in knowing how good a job it does on residential designs regarding wind & seismic loading. It costs about $800 which seems like a lot just for shear wall calcs.

I'd also like to hear from anyone using "LatPro"

I use Woodworks abd Shearwall is ony 1/3 of the program. It is so-so on shearwalls in that it only covers about 1/2 of the situtations I run into. The beam program is the best i have used.
