Hi All,

For my sheet metal parts I've got to stick to the maximum plate sizes available in the marked. Due to short lead times I sometimes forget to check the cut sizes of the flat pattern. resulting in reworking the models...:(

Does NX provide a solution to do this check for me automaticaly....??

As Thomas states, the 'Minimum X' and 'Minimum Y' size of the flat pattern is available as attributes on each flat pattern feature. This can be extracted and used (probably automated using checkmate?).

Remember the orientation of the flat pattern is important here as values of X and Y can be larger than the part if the orientation is not optimal.

If you have the checkmate author license you can run a check that does this for you based on pre-defined values
