Does anybody have a realtively quick and easy method for tracing out a sharp that is laying off center on a pipe.
Currently we use a rolled shell with a pipe inserted X" from the shell center line. We cut an elipitcal hole in the shell to insert the pipe. Most of this is done in Solidworks and can be projected and flattened out as sheet metal to get the shape that needs to be cut. Does anybody know if there is a simple method in autocad to achieve the same results?
