Is it possible to have 2 lofted bends in one part. Using SW 2004.

It doesn't look like it. I just inserted a Feature pallette Sheet metal part that is lofted and tried adding a second loft and it will not accept it. So My anser would be no.

I don't know if it will give you what you want, but you can insert another "lofted-bend" part into a part as a multi-body part using the Insert > Part & Locate part features. Not sure if you can merge or join the bodies though.

THANKS CorBlimeyLimey. that might work. I will give it a try.

Also. I don't think it's possible but mabey i am missing something. Can a scetched bend be tapered so the one end has a 2 degree angle and the other end say 80" away has 15 degrees.

If you mean a bent or curved sheet metal bend (ie. Edge Flange)... no it is not possible.

Oops, sorry just re-read you post, but same answer applies anyway. No a Sketched Bend must be one straight line.
However if you can split your sheet at the 2° & 15° intersection, then it would be possible to do two sketched bends, one for each angle.

In the "real world" how do you would manufacture a 2º to 15º bend? The answer to this can gide you in the way you should model your part.

You can not have more than 1 lofted bend pair of profiles in a single part, but you can add edge flange bends onto the straight edges of a simple lofted bends part. See the Hood Scoop sample in the SW Model Library for an example.

If you routinely need to model items that look like a HVAC Y-connector, or similar type of ducting transition, you might want to look at a partner solution like the AutoPOL Unfolder. It will take a thin extrude model from SolidWorks and unfold it and let you import the flattened geometry back to SolidWorks if desired. It can handle tapering bends, but not bends on curved edges.
