I've done some straight forward sheet pile design in the past for bulkhead and shoring applications using CWALSHT. I have looked for a safe place to download this software online and cannot find it. My question is:
(1) Does anyone know how I can go about getting a hold of this program?
(2) Or does anyone have a better recommendation for a sheetpile/retaining structure software for simple cantilevered or anchored applications? I am looking for a free or cost effective solution since I will be paying for it myself.

Thank you.

ProSheet used to be free. It’s simple, but it does take some patience with a few of the inputs. I believe it’s modeled after the USS Sheet Pile manual.

I remember comparing the software to other software and an internal program we made where I used to work and the results were pretty good.

I have not used the program in years though so am unsure of its existence or if it’s still free. Everything requires a subscription these days.

I use SPW911, from Pile Buck. I think it is much easier to use than ProSheet.

I downloaded Prosheet yesterday (which was free) but when I tried to set up a cantilevered wall I could only define an anchored wall. Maybe I need to go back and look more carefully. I looked at AmRetain also by Arcelor Mittal which requires a license but it’s cheaper than SPW911. Any other suggestions?

Thank you.
