Any information available on which sheet pile locks will declutch first in hard ground with SPT 'N' of 80. Larssen lock or ball & socket? Obviously want to go with the least risk option.

More important than the type of clutch is the section that you will be using. declutching is a consequence of sheet pile deformation under hard driving. Make sure that if calculations lead to a certain section, this section will be compatible with hard driving conditions. it might be the driving conditions that will dictate the section of the sheet piles you will have to use.
