I am designing a "continuous angle for support of cast stome pieces. The cast stone will bear at 3 places on the angle on 3" x 3" shims. The angle will be appx. 12-15 ft long and will also support a flashing system. Does anyone know what the influence area would be to design the angle for bearing? I believe it is twice the bearing width?
