Shell and membrane

Hi guys

I have modelled two slabs one is shell slab and another is membrane slab. Here i got shell slab beams moments are high and membrane beams are less compared with shell.

I have studied that membrane does not take at moment just it throws the moment on beams in this case membrane beams should get high moment than shell beams i am right or else wrong kindly clarify shell and membrane behaviour
