Shell and Tube heat exchanger ASME VIII-1

Hello

At my company, we normally produce these heatexchangers acc. to PED and they don´t need to be approved, But my AI told me that for asme they are inside the scope.

Specs:

Shellside : water at max 38C with a pressure of max 2 bar(a)

tube side: wasteheat at max 70C with a pressure of 330mbar(a)

I can see in the scope that code is applied, if a vessel, exceeds 15PSI(G) but is this also applicable when the medium is water.?

MLHE, you can possibly exempt this vessel under U-1(c)(2)(f) or (g). You should also confirm if your jurisdiction permits such exemptions.
