Has anyone devised a clever way to enlarge the mesh size of a model? I inherited a model with a very small mesh that takes too long to run and I can't think of a way to "enlarge" the mesh without going through a pain staking process or reworking the model from scratch.

Thanks in advance,

Ronnie

Only way I'm aware of is to stretch one of the shell element over the area (modify point or something I think the tool is called) and delete all the other shells. I don't think there is a merge tool from memory.

Then you are better using the auto mesh and setting the max mesh size, rather than physically meshing it.

I guess I'd want to ask why it was so finely mesh to start with, may have been a valid reason for this.
