shell elemnt sap 2000 for 2d drawing

Hi
my question is that i have composite concrete and steel structure and i draw it 2d autocade but i dont know what to do to get shell elemnt in sap 2000 for that structure
top part is concrete and bottom part is steel,can you please give me a tip about the procedure

I don't have Autocad, but if you have a composite structure, that is a "special case". Assuming that you're referring to a deck filled with concrete with shear connections to beams below, you would import the filled deck as an area element then make section property Membrane. Then draw supporting beams and connect them using links, or constraints. In general, the following rules apply when importing from dxf (sent to me from CSI tech support a while back):

Please also note that the following correlation between SAP2000 objects and DXF entities is applicable for importing a DXF file in SAP2000

Frames -- Lines
Shells -- 3Dfaces
Solids -- Meshed Polygon or Solid
 
thank you for your tips i think i should draw 3d surface then i will import it to sap but when i did that it never comin in shell as import dxf file but it appear in frame i beleve that sth i hve to do before exported either unit it or region can sb give me clear answer please
