Shell stresses S11 and Svm

Dear all

I have one column modeled in sap2000 as a shell element the column should be with grade s355 when I check the stresses in S11 it's exceeds the yield limit of AISC 10-16 which should be yield multiplied by 0.9 but when I check Svm(von mises stresses) it's accepted..which one I should follow S11 or Svm ..the problem that the column already fabricated.
