Hi,

I'm trying to calculate the total force for a shell element.
I used *EL PRINT to get the section forces. Unfortunately, the local axes of my QUAD element (the global axes are projected onto the element surface) don't math the element edges. What's the element unit length for the calculation of the absolute force???
If the local axes are matching the element edges, the corresponding edge length leads to the correct result.

Best regards,
Frank
