Hi,
I would like to assign few short cut keys to manipulate the graphic screen, like Ctrl+left mouse for zoom etc..

I tried to assign Shift+middle button to pan,but it doesn't work.
Can somebody help me to do it.

Thanks

Hi,

It's already there:

Ctrl+RMB=zoom in-out
Shift+RMB=rotate
Ctrl+Shift+RMB=pan
(try the scroll on the mouse as well:pressing=rotate, scrolling=zoom in-out if in the select tool)

Otherwise, I know Ctrl+key, alt+key or ctrl+alt+key will work. I'm not sure about using the mouse buttons instead of the keys as well as the use of shift.

Thanks Fred,

I would like to assign different short cut keys.
Is it possible to Pan with Shift+middle mouse button.?

Thank you once again.

To my knowledge, you cannot change the Pan command to function with the Shift + MMB.

Other shortcut keys can be assigned. Search the SE Help for the topic "shortcut". You'll find lots of information about default shortcuts and creating your own.

Regards,

Kevin
