shot peening using ABAQUS 1

Hello everyone,

I'm new with ABAQUS and i need to do a simulation on shot peening to find the best parameters in order to improve the fatigue life of aluminium.

Problem is i have no idea how to simulate it. I know how to draw the specimen in abaqus but how do I make them collide.
And, how to change the angle of contact or velocity of it.

Please if anyone has any tutorials on shot peening or impact,please give me the link. If you have a complete example of it would be the best.

Please help...
