Can anyone give a method to test shotcrete accelarator in the laboratory.I need to check the performance of an shotcrete accelarator against various types of cements. Shotcrete accelarators have flash set (or close to flash set). when I dose the admixture into a sand:cement mortar mix, and mix it for 30 seconds I am mixing through the reaction and eventually end up not stimulating feild effect or a theoritical shotcrete.I use a vicat apparatus to record the Initial and Final sets.
