Hi,
In industry, bushings can be fit in their housings by cooling first (generally in liquid nitrogen) and then letting them expand again in the housing.
This method seems quite reliable when the bushing material is homogeneous.
But what if the bushing is a self lubricating bronze-graphite buhshing (see link below for an example)? Is the method still valid? Anyone having an experience with the application is appreciable.
