Hello together ,
i want to see the impact when a piston hits a solid that is attached by a spring to another solid. I want that "solid 1" stays in its current position until the pin hits the "spring". Is there any way that i can simulate that case? There is a possibility with 3D-contact. But i don´t know how to set the parameters because solid 1 starts to swing at the start of the simulation. Does anyone know why? Furthermore there are differences in the result by using solver "Recurdyn" or "NX-Motion".
Here is a picture. Is there also some literature for siemens nx motion because i can´t find anything. I would appreciate any help or advice.
Thank you very much!
