We have recently had a discussion on signatures on drawings created electronically. In the old days, the original drawing was signed and approved in the title block. When a revision was made, the changes were made on the same drawing so the signatures remained. Today, we make the changes in AutoCAD and print the new revised drawing on a new sheet of paper. The problem with this is that the original signatures are lost from the revised copy. I'd like to know other companies handle this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
