hello guys
i need some help with SimDesigner (catia's add on)
i'm running on catia v5r17 and simdesigner r2
i had designed a piston-crankshaft-block mechanism on catia an i want to take some kinematics and dynamics results from simdesigner.
i wrote some code on matlab for my geometry values and i know the results for velocities, accelerations and forces on piston pin and on crankshaft
i take exactly the same values for velocities and accelerations from simdesigner.
the problem is on forces values.
simdesigner results are not seem correct or logical and they don't match with matlab's results (wich matches with some papers i have read)
even if i change masses (eg piston mass) they dont change at all
i tried all possible working constraints for the mechanism(INCLUDING auto constraint creation from assembly).
mechanism working fine with correct velocities and accelerations but it seems to ignore masses, forces and inertia.
my constraint between piston pin and connecting rod is body body contact.
any help plz?
