I've see that in some analisys, last time increment in .msg isn't equal to one, even if i set my time period to 1.

In my analisys there isn't time dependence for material or load (static hertz analisys).

From abaqus help, i understand that it's possibile convergence come before time period end....is it right?

Are you looking at the time INCREMENT or the CUMULATIVE time. The increment in a non-linear analysis will rarely be 1.

If it is less than the total time then the job may have ended prematurely (could be due to no convergence, or maximum number of increments reached). Read the last part of the .msg file carefully (or post .msg and .sta files).

Thx all for reply!

I've read the end of .msg and i've undestand that what i believed to be the total STEP TIME COMPLETED was instead the TIME INCREMENT COMPLETED (so a fraction of total step time)!

That's why, reading...

TIME INCREMENT COMPLETED 0.175
FRACTION OF STEP COMPLETED 1.00
STEP TIME COMPLETED 1.00
TOTAL TIME COMPLETED 1.00

...i believed that analisys ended before total period time that i imposed in abaqus/cae!
