Simple software to isometric

Can you recommend a a simple software to isometric drawings?
If the project is large we use PDMS, but if we have to do 5-10 pipelines it does not pay.

Do you know how to draw manual isometrics?

Sometimes its possible to do all the right things and still get bad results

Acorn pipe looks the most interesting to me, but nothing that is good is free...

I think AcornPipe is priced on a per iso basis, it was last time I checked. It's mainly used for shop spool drawings but can do isos as well.

Is five hours for an average handdrawn iso too long??

if you have about 45 items (flanges, bolts ect...) it takes more than 5 hours

I think there is not a less timeconsuming way.
Maybe 3d autocad with the piping program?
