i have a surface obtained after using the join command. it has still got many visible surfaces i.e internal edges are there which can be selected although it is one surface. how do i get a single surface with no internal edges. the whole surface has tangency maintained.

hi, you might try posting this in one of the CAD-related forums on the site. it would also help if you selected one specific to the CAD software you're using (which is not named here).

Hi
I think you work with catia,
you should to try to use the extract command to get one surfaces or multiple extract.
Good luck

"Rough Offset"? Offset a specified amount and offset a second time using the same value to get it back to original location. Rough Offset has a liberal tolerance depending on what you are after.
