Hi, I am trying to model a system with two magnets vertically separated by a distance. I applied a pressure on the lower magnet which displaces the magnet upwards and cause the distance between the upper and lower magnets to decrease. It is known that as the distance decreases, the magnetic attraction force between the two magnets should increase. How can I model this and obtain a force-distance graph? Help very much needed. Thanks in advance.
