Hello All,
I have challenge on my hands that has had me puzzled for the last couple of hours. I am trying to simulate a wire cable in mechanism that goes around a pulley. I don't have to include any slack (even though in reality there will be).
A couple of thoughts I have had are to model a datum curve and place a part with a single dataum point to be connected to the curve. This would probably work okay, but the angle of the cable would not change as the mechasim moved given that the curve would be modeled and would not dynamically update when being dragged.
I am open to any wild ideas people may have. Not sure if WF5 can do this, but unfortunately WF5 would not be an option for this particular model.
Thanks,
Steve
