Simulating Impact Mole Device

Hello all,

I have been having quite some difficulty figuring out how to model the device as seen in the youtube link below, in 2D.

Any ideas? I can model the spring with a connector element... but modeling the pneumatically driven hammer that strikes the anvil is tricky. Particularly when resetting the hammer to its original place is an important part of the process.

Did you try connectors with actuation as we discussed in your previous thread here ?
