simulation starting from orphan mesh

Hi

I imported inp file from Nastran to Abaqus. I got only the orphan mesh.
I want to use this mesh. as it easier was to do partition there for a specific case.
I want to add BC/Load to the imported model (orphan mesh). I need to create a geometry for this reason.
How could I get to simulate the model from this point? (having the orphan mesh).

you dont need to create a geometry.

you can define node/element sets and apply loads/constraints to an orphan mesh as you would for a geometry part.
