Virtually all SI reports we receive, submitted as a part of a tender package, are presented on paper and often in numerous bound folders. This includes borehole logs, lab test data, contamination testing etc.

We are currently considering purchasing software which will be able to read SI infromation in AGS format. AGS is the standard format in which most of the ground investigation companies write their reports. To have this software will allow us to plot boreholes on sections, analyse groups of lab test data and much much more besides.

The show-stopper with this purchase is the availability of the SI report in digital AGS format. Does anyone out there ask for and readily receive SIs in AGS formaton disk, or, have you asked for it and been refused it by the SI company?

Any views gladly received.
