Six valence crome?

Can there be six valence crome when it is used in the hard metal (WC-Co) alloying? (in milling, spray drying or sintering stages) Thanks for help!

It is unlikely - synthesizing/manufacturing hexavalent chromium (+6 oxidation state) usually requires highly oxidising environments. Unless you started your process with hexavalent chromium present, you are unlikely to end up with it.

As chrome plating, the bulk of the chromium would be present as chromium metal (zero oxidation state) or chromium oxides (+3 - or trivalent - oxidation state).
