Size of coupons for welder qualification test

Figure 4.31 of AWS D1.1 does not specify the size for the root and the face bend coupons to be cut does anyone know where I can find this, I'm looking for a 3/8" limited thickness test can't find the size of the specimens

You need to end up with straps 1-inch wide, from two different places [non-contiguous] in the coupon.

The code referenced is AWS D1.1. If one is using the 2010 edition, look at figure 4.12. The dimension for "W" is 1 1/2 inches for plate and pipe larger than 4 inches per the table just below the sketch. W is 1 inch if the pipe coupon is equal to or less than 4 inches in diameter.
