Size of dialog window..???

Hi everyone,

I wonder if it is possible to set a parameter somewhere to set the size of some dialog-windows like "Save Management" or "Open/Save"-dialog windows?

It is so annoying to always drag these windows to a bigger size or drag the columns in "Save Management" to see more of the column.

I want CATIA to remember the sizes I have choosen. Is it possible?

Hello Mangus,

If you (or your administrator) start Catia on -admin mode and set size and bahaviour of those dialog windows Catia uses that size as "dafault".

Clear your user settings after modifying referense settings in admin mode.

Start Catia in -admin mode.

Select File - Open. Resize your dialog window as you like it.

Close Catia.

It didn't work for me, anyone have better luck?
I found that in the same session the window size is retained but changes to the View Menu (from List to Details for example) was reset every time I selected Open.
And if I restart Admin mode after making the desired dialog window changes all settings are reset.
I tried deleting the user CATSettings and starting up in user mode but that produced the same failed results (as would be expected if restarting Admin mode did not work).

Is it really as easy as…
