Hi, Im designing a cart to transport heavy materials and the motor I want to use has a speed of 1440rpm with a gearbox ratio of 90:89:1 the driven gear connected to the wheel has 34 teeth and must have a speed of 60rpm, module of 4.2. How can I get the speed at which the pinion gear will run to determine its number of teeth and diameter, the cart must be slow, but still be able to transport the weigt.

This sounds like really basic mechanics of machines. If you don't know this stuff, you should not be doing the design.

What do you mean by a gearbox ratio of 90:89:1?

A metric module of 4.2 sounds weird. Could this be a diametral pitch of six?

The gearbox output speed is 1441/90.89, the pinion speed. 15.9rpm
The number of teeth in the pinion would be 34*60/pinion speed, rounded to a whole number. 129
