Any recommendations on reducing electrolytic hafnium pieces to around 0.5mm for an alloying application.

Ball Mill? Jaw Crusher?

Also I believe Hf is phosphoric and can ignite spontaneously in air when in powder form? Is there a safe way to do this?

SPEC mill... in argon might work... (SPEC stands for Specimen Preparation Extraction and Communution)

Or an autogeneous process....
