How is a clean steam generator vessel sized?

It doesn't seem to be strictly related to heat transfer area, steam release area or anything I can point to as a constant. Help!

You need to post more information, design of what you are doing wold be helful.
For me, cleansteam gens are the same as a std steam generator,
constants and all. The same rule: heat transfer, PPH and so on.

The same output (PPH) can have a variety of vessel sizes, vertical or horizontal in orientation. The heat release surface are will be different. I agree the HTSA must be similar, but what affect does, or doesn't heat release area have with CLEAN steam?

You may gain a 1% efficiency because of the very low disolved solids on the clean steam water used for clean stem but the other factors are the same.

BUT input vs BTU output, depends in design/equipment efficiency. that's what counts
