Sizing Geogrid for roadway improvement

Hello all,
I was wondering how y'all go about sizing biaxial geogrid for roadway improvement. I'm designing an aggregate road and I'm going to be putting some biaxial geogrid between the aggregate and the subbase. How does one go about determining the exact product or sizing to use?

I'm sure that it has to do with aggregate size, but I don't know how they relate. Does anyone have any information on how aggregate size/gradation correlates to what size of geogrid to use (size of gaps, thickness, etc.)?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Each manufacturer has a chart that shows the tickness of gravel required, with and without geogrid for varrious traffic conditions. That is about the only way to go about it.

One comment, I personally have the geogrid installed a few inches into the gravel layer, not on the bottom. While I know that in theory the grid should go on the bottom, where tensil stresses are the highest; it just appears to work a little better. If I'm installing 12 inches of aggregate with grid, I will have 2 inches of aggregate installed, then the grid, then the remaining aggregate.
