Sketch Constraints

I am using AIS 09 and I have noticed, lately my sketches are not constrained properly. Before I used to have coincident constraints automatically at the endpoints, but now I have to manually constraint each and everyone of them, which is time consuming. I have checked every options in tool>option to see if something has been unchecked by mistake. I didn't have this problem in 08.

that didn't solve it either. I am trying to find constraint options dialogue box, where (thru Help I found this) you can enable/disable this situation.

Got it. I figured it out. Constraints option box is grayed out unless constraint inference and persistence is not activated.
