sketch lines disappear

During the construction of a sketch with grid snaps on, it seem the lines I create get hidden behind the grid
under intensified lines. I can always move the entire sketch as a unit away and in between the grid lines of course, and then I can see the lines, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to stop this from happening. Not a big deal but it has been bugging me for a while.I tried to change the sketch line width but I was not able to affect the sketch elements I was creating. By the way this does not happen if I use the profile tool to create the lines. It only happens when I use the line command.

I dont really know but it sounds like it is not something that I am doing wrong but a hardware problem or maybe a graphics card problem if I understand the direction of your questioning. I will look into that possibility.

try turning off the grid in sketcher.

Tools + Options + Mechanical + Sketcher

In the Grid section on the top; turn off the DISPLAY option and also the SNAP TO POINT option

I have truned the grid off and the lines show with no problem. I would like to keep the grids on and still see the lines tho.

Are you working with several parts within a product, and have you changed the colors of those parts? I've noticed that when I change the color of a product or a part, all the geometry in my sketches turn black. If this is the case, just change the graphic properties in the products and parts to NO COLOR.

no thats not the case. I can drag the sketch slightly away from coincidence with the grid lines and the sketch lines show up. It only happens when I snap to a grid box and go either horizontal or vetical. the sketch line gets hidden behind the grid lines. As soon as I drag away they appear and also if I insert a line diagonally across the grid lines then there is no problem. It is driving me nuts!
