Hi All,

I have a reinforced concrete slab with 50mm cover A393 mesh 10mm bars and the dimension are 6.19 x 3.031 and 150mm thick. This slab is going to have 150mm of grade under slab. Does anyone know the best design approach to take? I have been using EC2 codes, but I can only find simply supported slab examples, but I require a ground bearing slab onto grade calculation.

The doc below is a pretty great start. Much depends on your use case, loading, and geotechnical parameters.

Thanks, my ground is firm to stiff clays ground bearing strength 80-100KN/m^2 green field site with no trees or hedges to worry about.
