the problem = current torque drivers revs (RPS) are too fast - causing threads to strip

4 in/lbs torque setting is fine, its just the high speed thats giving our production operators trouble. can someone recommend a slow revolution torque driver ? Name or website ?

thanks for the help!

Any/All of the torque driver manufacturers have multiple models with different RPM ratings.
Which brand/model number are you using now?

we are using ASG-Jergens model # TL-6500 and we also use Aim Electra model # AE-2015

So call ASG-Jergens or Aim and see what they have with a lower RPM if you really think thats the problem.
We've used the ASG TL-6500 before and have NO problem driving fasteners at 4 in-lbs. (We drive some #2-28 plastite screws into plastic bosses at that torque)

When you call them make sure you give MUCH more information than you gave here.. Fastener size/thread type/material joining/thread length,etc...
