Sloped Roofs: Unbraced Length Lb

I have a sloped roof modeled and axial loads are entering the members, which is ok, but this triggers the L/r<300 check to enter, which is also ok, but only if I was able to adjust the unbraced length of these members. I see an Lbtop and Lbbottom parameters that I can define but no Lbyy and Lbxx like in Risa 3d.

I'm assuming the roof deck will brace the beam about its weak axis, is there a way to tell the program this?

If not then I can go into the Design Module and bump the sizes down but this module doesn't flash the L/r<300 warning.

On the Hot Rolled Tab of the Beams spreadsheet there is an Lbyy and Lbzz entry just like there is for RISA-3D. You might check to see which version of the program you are using as I have only confirmed this layout with the current version 4.0.3.

Yes, there is an Lbzz there in the 4.0.2 version.

Thanks Josh
