Dear all,
I have little confusion for provision of slotted holes in lug support for vertical vessel.First, iwant know the provision of slotted holes in lug support is must or not? Incase, if slotted holes are provided in lug support which basis are followed to calculate the circumferential thermal expansion? How to design the slotted holes?
