I'm having problems with intralink running extremely slow. My task manager's status reads, "not responding" for long periods of time. This happens at all different times but one example is when I'm saving a part or assembly. I have a dual 800Mhz processors and 512Mb RAM so I should have enough power to run it efficiently. Is this just the nature of the beast or is there a configuration that is set improperly.

Thanks

Scott

Have you cleared the Frames in the frame manager?
Get a GIG-o-memory.
Have you been restarting the file server to reset the handle count ( there is a TAN out there )????
EXTREME COMPUTING TIP - 1.) kill Explorer.exe and restart it inthe NT Task Manager. 2.) In NT, lock the machine hten unlock it.
I hope this helps. The MIS guy says upgrade to the 1 GB/s Ethernet ( he he ha ).

I agree with checking the manager feature.
Pick it, it is in the middle on top and purge all the commands.
We had that problem here and there were people with hundreds of commands in memory.
Hope this helps. :)I

Dear SCotts,

Please try this first:

Go to settings-control panel-system-performance and change the virtual memory to 1000-1000.

Please let me know if ti works.
