I need a probe to measure a small magnetic field (0 to 2E-6 Tesla) 0 to 0.02 Gauss. to resolution of 0.1E-6 Tesla,0.001 Gauss. With a response time of at least 5 micro sec.

I have been using gauss meters like the Lakeshore 421 which has the accuracy but not the response rate. With a hall sensor on its own I can get the response speed but not the accuracy.

Would a search coil, connected to a fluxmeter work?

A couple of years ago, I came across this company:
who claimed to be able to make Hall effect sensors that work at kiloHertz level (I'm not sure about their resolution). Their website is difficult to navigate, but they might be worth contacting.

Copied from their site:

The Mag-01 and the Mag-01H are portable high performance instruments that provide precision measurements of the direction and intensity of magnetic fields from 0.1nT (1µG) to 2,000µT (20G) with a frequency response of DC to 10Hz. Axial and transverse probes are available together with unpackaged probes for cryogenic applications.
