I'd greatly appreciate some assistance in identifying a small "spin-on" (or similar) filter element for use with diesel fuel. I.e. a similar item used for the majority of engine oil filters. The element should comply with the following:
# max. OD of approx. 80mm (3").
# max. OAL of approx. 80mm (3").
# min. SWP of around 150kPa (22psi).
# clear filter bowl attachment not req'd - just require the steel cased (closed) filter element itself.
# filter head NOT required - provision will be made on our product to accept the element.
# flow capacity required: <20LPM (5.3GPM).
# filtration rating: around 10-20µm.
# supplied complete with face seal - as per standard spin-on type elements.

The closest items I can find are the Parker/Racor 140 Series units, with the R12T element. Unfortunately this series is only available with the clear filter bowl, thus greatly extending the OAL of the unit.

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for your assistance.

Kind Regards
Adam

I often try to find what I need in McMasters or Graingers, buy one then contact the manufacturer for volume pricing or whatever.
