Dose anybody knows what is "directional radar"?

I think it must be a kind of radar that searshes
targets wiche are not line of sight.

If anybody can help me pls does her/his best.

Suggestions:
1. Normally, the radar is not used for any specialized direction finding, i.e. "directional radar" could possibly be referring to Direction-Finding (DF) system.
