I'm trying to perform an Insert Smart Features command of a Smart Component. When I finish the operation the Smart Features are rotated 90 degrees to the face. I can not figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm using SW2011. Please help.

I was wondering if you knew what I was doing wrong with the Smart Component? Thank you.

Sorry, Ralph. I forgot all about this one.

I couldn't see anything obvious with a quick look, but I will look closer later. Maybe you could try to get Alin involved.

Maybe I don't have it set up the same as you do (plus i am missing the mold base you used), but it seems like it does not have any controls of how its suppose to perform when you bring it into an assembly. Its like your just dragging a component into an assembly with no smart references, but like I said I might just not have it completely setup properly. I rarely use this functionality.

I did look at the Smart Feature you created for hte part and i don't see anything wrong.
