SMF Connection testing

Can anyone give some information on the cost and time involved in testing of a typical SMF / IMF connection? There are pre-approved connections, but not for all member sizes.

Check with a local testing laboratory as the configuration of the connection will dictate the method of test. The method of testing causes the fee for testing to vary significantly....for example, ultrasonic NDT is significantly less expensive than radiographic NDT.
